Who we are

Founded by PFL & Bellator world champion Corey Anderson and his wife Jenny, Overtime MMA & Fitness is a family-owned business bringing elite MMA training to Indianapolis. Our goal is to create a gym culture and students who strive towards excellence, while maintaining a respect for the martial arts. We want to create an atmosphere where we can teach the many skills we’ve learned training with some of the best in the world, while making it approachable to everyone.

Corey has had over 13 years of experience training MMA at the highest level, a lifetime of wrestling, and five years of coaching wrestling at the collegiate level. He has earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the legendary Ricardo Almeida, and has over 12 years of training under UFC legend, Frankie Edgar, MMA/boxing coach Mark Henry, and former UFC fighter and New Jersey powerhouse Nick Catone. He has also been guided throughout his career by Indiana wrestling legend and 3x State Champion, Steven Bradley.

Corey was thrust into the UFC with only 3 fights, but with the help of his excellent mentors, his phenomenal work ethic, his coachability, and pure grit,he won The Ultimate Fighter Season 19 and has fought in the top 15 of his weight class his whole career. Leaving the UFC as a #4-ranked light heavyweight and going on to becoming the Bellator light heavyweight champion and is currently the current PFL light heavyweight champion. Corey has been able to make a living fighting for over 10 years, which has far supassed the average careeer of a fighter.

Despite Corey’s success in his career as a prize fighter, his passion has always lied in coaching. This passion comes from his love for a lifestyle that has blessed him, changed his life, and gave him everything he could ever dream of. Owning a gym and sharing his knowlege and hopefully ignighting this passion in others was always in his plans for the future and the future is now.

Corey and his wife want to help the community to learn, grow, and build the type of confidence that only the martial arts lifestyle can bring.
